Some examples of Heidi’s work.

Heidi Wellings

Heidi Wellings came from a talented family of photographers, artists and inventors. She was one of the original members of the Enamellers Association, being the secretary for about 15 years. Heidi enjoyed the creative talks, demonstrations and workshops that were held regularly. She was initially attracted to the lustre of enamels, but came  to particularly enjoy sculpting with the heavier guage copper. Heidi taught copper work for many years at Manly Evening College and held weekly classes at her home at Elanora Heights for many years until she lost her sight. Her daughter, Mignon Parker, is a highly regarded Australian.  (Text by Lyndan Blackman.)
